Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov commented on the words of the candidate in US presidents from Republican Donald trump, who criticized the actions of Russia in Syria and stated that Moscow has no respect for American leadership.
In the opinion of the representative of the Kremlin, in this case we are dealing with pre-election rhetoric and a continuation of the discussion in the framework of the electoral campaign. Peskov stressed that Russia does not interfere in all these discussions.
He explained that the rhetoric of all the presidential candidates in the United States “subject to such market changes,” which is understandable and explainable. Peskov said that, of course, would like to see Russia appeared in these speeches only in a positive sense, but, unfortunately, “the Russian map and the mention of our President actually has become an integral part of the election campaign in America.”
Earlier MKRU reported that at a rally in Prescott, Arizona Donald trump has accused Russia of violating the ceasefire in Syria. He explained this by the fact that Moscow does not respect neither the current American President Barack Obama nor presidential candidate of the Democrats, Hillary Clinton. While trump called for an end to the Russian bombings in Syria.
Earlier, trump spoke about the Russian operation in Syria, quite complacently, that has been criticized by opponents of the Democratic party.
