Putin at the opening of the first session of the new Duma quoted Stolypin

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday before the beginning of work of the state Duma of a new, seventh convocation addressed a farewell to the deputies. In particular, he quoted a statesman of the Russian Empire Pyotr Stolypin.

“We all have to coordinate efforts to maintain the historical rights of Russia to be strong,” cited the head of state. Putin stressed that the right to be strong is any country.

“We never put a great touch, and we never impose anything and do not intend to impose,” he said, adding that the main wealth of the country — its internal resources.
