- Pence: Democrats have doubled the national debt of the United States
Mike Pence, who plays as a candidate for Vice-President of the US Republican party has accused Democrats in the doubling of the national debt, noting that Hillary Clinton has to do with it.
“Under the former administration, which was part of Clinton, we almost doubled our national debt,” he said during in the debate with his opponent Democrat Tim Kane.
Currently US national debt is about 14 trillion dollars, before the start of the Obama presidency the Federal debt was around 11 trillion.
