The veto of the permanent members of the UN security Council proposed to limit over Syria


The UN high Commissioner for human rights Zeid RA’ad al Hussein appealed to the security Council of the organization to limit the veto of the permanent members of the security Council. Recall that in the number of permanent members include five countries — UK, USA, Russia, France and China.

UN high Commissioner believes this step is necessary to solve Syria’s Aleppo. According to him, members of the UN security Council to be restrained from the use of the veto in the case when we are talking about the possible Commission of war crimes and genocide.

Hussein said that the Syrian military and supporting videoconferencing using banned incendiary weapons. While banned weapons — mortars, hand-built, shrapnel-shooting — uses and the Syrian opposition, he said.

Such accusations Russia has repeatedly denied. In the Kremlin, stressed that the operation in Syria is conducted in accordance with international law.
