The Prosecutor General’s office has accused Ukraine of cynicism, Recalling the downed Tu-154


In the Russian Prosecutor General’s office called cynical the position of the Ukrainian investigators on the case about the crash of Tu-154 in the sky over the Black sea in 2001. Today marks exactly 15 years since that day Ukrainian missile destroyed a civilian airliner.

As stated on Tuesday, Deputy Prosecutor General Sergei Fridinsky, the disaster was quickly assembled and studied an indisputable evidence of the guilt of the Ukrainian military, reports “Interfax

“The investigation is recognized and flown to Sochi, the leadership of the air defense of the armed forces of Ukraine and the Secretary of security Council of this country,” he said.

The Prosecutor General noted that the Russian side has performed all the necessary investigations and submitted the materials to the Ukrainian colleagues. Those, in turn, did everything possible to ruin the investigation. It has not been completed to this day.

“When the obvious facts of this manifestation of cynicism in these events we did not expect,” – said Fridinsky.

Tu-154 of airline “Siberia” carrying out flight from tel Aviv to Novosibirsk, was shot down on 4 October 2001 by a Ukrainian s-200 missile fired during exercises. Killed 66 passengers and 12 crew members.

Later Kiev paid compensation to the families of the victims, although at the official level, Ukrainian authorities guilty or not guilty.
