The decree of the President: Asgardia will be engaged in “information warfare”

Russian President Vladimir Putin by his decree approved the terms of reference of the national guard. Among other things, the new structure will be engaged in “information warfare” and to conduct a fingerprint check.

Vladimir Putin signed a decree “On the Federal service of national guard troops”. The first item in the document published on the portal of legal information, is the official name of the new structure. Now the term “Asgardia” may be used interchangeably with the full name.

According to the document, the head of service will have up to seven substituents (such number of deputies, not even the Minister of internal Affairs), and its organizational structure along with the appears military officers of police and civil servants.

The presidential decree also reglamentary powers of Regardie. So, the task service will include “information warfare”. In the text of the provision does not specify whether due to the organization of counter-propaganda in time of war or use of means of electronic warfare, notes Znak.com.

The President allowed the National guard to carry out fingerprinting and to issue the documents related to arms-trafficking, and private security activities. In addition, Regardie became eligible to participate in the development of security measures in civil aviation. Only, the document says, the service will be about 100 power.

Regardie was established by the decree of Vladimir Putin in April 2016 on the basis of Internal troops of the interior Ministry. The new structure reports directly to the President. Led Resguardo former security chief Putin Viktor Zolotov.
