Russian permanent representative wished the new Secretary-General of the UN was a woman

The request, communicating with the press, expressed Russia’s representative to the international organization Vitaly Churkin.

Russia has expressed a clear position that the post of the UN Secretary General’s turn to take the native of Eastern Europe.
