The FAS called “unthinkable” improving Belarus tariffs on gas transit


The head of the control TEK FAS Dmitry Makhonin, commented on the decision of the Belarusian authorities to increase unilaterally the tariffs for gas transit.

According to him, FAS as regulator only received a letter of intent of Belarus to change the cost, but that this has already happened, nothing was said.

Makhonin called it “unthinkable” decision to raise the cost of transit by 1.5 times, the violation of all provisions of our agreements intergovernmental agreements and methods”, which puts into question the legitimacy of the procedure.
