Poll: less than half of Russians consider honest elections to the state Duma


Only 46% of respondents “Levada-the centre” Russians believe that the elections of 18 September in the state Duma was conducted fairly, should be published by sociologists results data of public opinion. Another 31% of respondents in the integrity of the elections questioned, 22% of respondents could not answer the question.

The majority of respondents (78%) are not faced with pressure during the election campaign. That they pressed the bosses at work said 5%.

Almost half of the respondents also believe that significant irregularities in the counting of votes was not, and only 6% believe that violations were and significantly changed the election results.
