Media: the leader of the “Islamic state” was poisoned, together with his colleagues

The leader of the terrorist group “Islamic state” (organization banned in Russia), Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was poisoned during a meal with other senior militants. However, fatal to the leader of the terrorists managed to escape.

The poison was slipped into the food of al-Baghdadi, which he took together with his colleagues, according to Iranian television channel Press TV, citing its sources.

The attack occurred near the Syrian-Iraq border in Nineveh province. According to Iranian journalists, the militants frantically arresting all who may be involved in the assassination.

It is also reported that al-Baghdadi is suffering heavily from the effects of the poisoning and is now in a secret hideout.

Earlier media have repeatedly reported the elimination of the leader of the IG. In particular, in June there was information that al-Baghdadi was killed in airstrikes of the US-led coalition near Mosul.
