Medvedev said about the possible reduction in the rate of the Central Bank

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in an interview with “the First channel” said that at the moment in Russia has slowed the growth of prices, inflation decreased, which gives grounds to speak about possible decrease in rates of the Central Bank in the short term reduction rate of the Central Bank.

“It will be possible to speak about decrease in key Bank rates, including key rate of the Central Bank,” he said, adding that the Central Bank is free to decide such questions.

However, in this case, said the head of the Cabinet, “we will reach quite reasonable, I’d say modern, civilized rate mortgages”.
