The procedure will take place on 5 October during the first meeting of the lower house of Parliament.
For the posts of Deputy heads of the state Duma United Russia nominate five candidates: first Deputy speaker of the chamber of last convocation Alexander Zhukov, the Secretary of the General Council of the party Sergei Neverov, Vladimir Vasiliev (both occupied a similar position in the sixth convocation of the Duma, Irina Yarovaya, formerly head of the Duma Committee for security and combating corruption, and TV presenter Peter Tolstoy, the first time izbivshego in Parliament.
