Mei: Scotland will not be able to veto Brexit

London will not allow Edinburgh to veto Brexit negotiations, Prime Minister Theresa may.

“The United Kingdom will maintain its position in the negotiations,” she said, stressing that they are ready to listen to the concerns of Scotland relative to the UK out of the EU, but nothing more.

“What I do know is that the negotiations will fully participate to the Scottish government,” added may.

June 23 in the UK held a referendum on the question of further stay in the EU. Supporters of Brexit won with 51.9% of votes. The turnout exceeded 72 percent.
