The Georgian authorities promised Saakashvili.”

This was announced by the former Prime Minister of Georgia, billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili, commenting on the desire of Saakashvili in case of victory of his party “United national movement” in the parliamentary elections of 8 October to return home.

Georgia is not so far away from Europe… He does not have to live in basements and tunnels, we have a nice comfy prison cells that await him. After the elections, Saakashvili will have nowhere to run away,” he said.
