After the Duma election revealed that the Crimea are leaving, many of those who forged the victory of the “Russian spring” and helped the Peninsula to take the first steps in Russia: the former chief Prosecutor of the Crimea Natalia Polonskaya, Deputy Prime Ministers Mikhail Sheremet and Ruslan Balbec, the first Deputy head of the state Council of the Crimea Konstantin Bakharev, the leader of “Russian unity” Andrey Kozenko and the former head of the party “Union” Svetlana Savchenko. Who will engage in the development of the Crimea, “MK” told the head of the Public chamber of the Republic Grigory Ioffe.

A conversation with a former statesman of Ukraine, which in 2014 was one of the first has made its choice in favor of Russia, took place during his press conference dedicated to the socio-political situation on the Peninsula. First of all, he stressed that no claims to the legality held in Crimea can be no elections for two reasons. First, vote in elections, the citizens of Russia. Second, in March 2014, on the eve of the referendum on joining of Crimea to Russia, Viktor Yanukovych has deprived Poklonsky, Sheremet, Balbec and other politicians of the Ukrainian citizenship. They addressed him as the legitimate President of Ukraine, and they were all the same, that in fact he was no longer, said Joffe. So they changed citizenship legally.
While record-low turnout in RUB 49.15% public figure called the ordinary index for European countries. The absence of international observers, including from the CIS countries, it does not bother, and the crushing victory of “United Russia”, which won 72.8 percent of the vote, called natural, as this party more than any other helped the Crimea integration into Russia.
According to Joffe, the elections did not come four categories of the Crimean people: those who are all so happy; who believes that the elections will change nothing; who considers Crimea occupied; and part of the Crimean Tatars. The last showed a fairly low turnout, admits the head of the Public chamber, but it was the fault of the banned in Russia, the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars. It turns out, the self-proclaimed leaders of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov and Mustafa Dzhemilev and others pitched in Crimea a network of agents through which was threatened by his compatriots with physical violence if they go to the polls.
Meanwhile for anybody not a secret that in 2014 the population of Crimea was much more likely to blame the Republican government for corruption. For example, Poklonskaya was blamed for the persecution of the Director of the zoo “fairy Tale”, Sheremet was one of those answerable for the consequences of the energy blockade, and Balbec, being a Crimean Tatar, was unable to neutralize the activity is prohibited in Russia, the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars. In this regard, the correspondent of “MK” has decided to find out from the Ioffe whether their transition in the state Duma “the honourable link”:
— If they do something suspect, they would never do candidates. Natalia Poklonskaya came to the post of chief Prosecutor of Crimea has once held a “Crimean spring”. But she has nothing and their symbol can not be. While Taylor has faced a lot of difficulties to put back on track the Russian rights Ukrainian Prosecutor’s office has been very difficult. I can tell you about the rest of the deputies. Sheremet together with Aksenov has created self-defense units of Crimea. Bakharev — editor of the highly respected newspaper “Crimean truth”, my apprentice. Savchenko many years was the head of the Crimean party “Union” and called for a referendum for unification with Russia long before the meeting. Kozenko opposed to Ukrainian nationalism, and concern for the heritage of the great Patriotic war…
We can say that in the Crimea there was a change of elites that replaced the leaders of the “Crimean spring” will come to the people that it does not relate, including mainland of Russia? You say that it is very difficult to rearrange the Ukrainian office of public Prosecutor of the Russian rails, is of course, difficult, when engaged in the former Prosecutor of Ukraine.
— Poklonskaya has nothing to do with the Ukrainian Prosecutor’s office.
She worked in it since 2002.
It doesn’t count because she quit and moved to the Crimea, when there began the events. But a change of elites happens, and it is a natural process. Today I do public work, and from 2009 to 2014 was Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Crimea. Of course, after Polonskaya can call me Ukrainian statesman, but I was among those who tried to change everything. Today the State Duma are the people who forged our victory in the “Crimean spring”. Someone will come to replace them, but I don’t think it will be people from the Federal government.
