The Congress for the first time have overcome Obama’s veto


The us Congress for the first years of the presidency of Barack Obama overcame the imposed veto. It happened during the vote on the bill that allows the filing of lawsuits from the relatives of the victims of the terrorist attack of 11 September 2001, Saudi Arabia.

In the Senate against presidential veto of the initiative was voted against by 97 to one, in the House of representatives 348 to 77. Thus, the initiative will become law against the wishes of the President.
