Ministry of economy of the Russian Federation proposed to reduce the minimum cost of a bottle of vodka to 54 rubles


The Ministry of economic development of Russia serves in 2017 to reduce the minimum price of half a liter of vodka from 190 to 136 rubles, said Deputy Minister Oleg Fomichev. The Ministry also advocates for the reduction of excise duty on spirits from 500 to 360 rubles. According to Fomicheva, the proposals submitted to the Ministry of Finance.

The economy Ministry noted that the increase of excise duties began to decline their collection, as the products began to go into the illegal sphere.
