Currently, the costs for garbage disposal are recorded in the line “the maintenance and repair of the dwelling” and average of 2.5 rubles per square meter. The fee may vary depending on the tariff set by the management company.

However, from 1 January 2017 this service will move from housing to utilities, writes “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”. The size of tariffs will depend on the regional operators, which will choose the tender for 10 years. Wins the one who will offer the best conditions.

The Minister of natural resources Sergey Donskoy believes that “trash reform” will make the tariffs more transparent. “The regions are entitled to set tariff limits for the handling of municipal solid waste. We believe that the fee for garbage collection should not increase”, — said the publication of don. According to him, in every subject there will be a single rate.

The Minister also spoke about the new standards of waste disposal, which will also become effective with the new year. According to these rules, will be banned from landfill, which include useful components to be recycled. In the first phase it is proposed to prohibit the disposal of scrap, waste of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and products that contains mercury.
