Russia in the OSCE recalled wsaemsgsize the rights of the inhabitants of the Crimea

With the corresponding statement was made at a meeting of the Organization for security and cooperation in Europe, Advisor of the European cooperation Department of Russian foreign Ministry Ivan Maltsev.

“Restrictions on the freedom of movement of inhabitants of the Crimea, both from the point of view of the issuance of visas and the recognition of Russian passports issued in Crimea are nothing short of discrimination. This is the real punishment of the people of the Peninsula of all nationalities for the realization of the right to self-determination and the right to freedom of expression. Common European Commission in June recommendation on the recognition of the Crimean passports infringe on the right of the inhabitants to make a political choice and denigrated the image of the European Union, positioning itself as a defender of human rights,” he said.
