We are talking about the development of intelligent road transport infrastructure and the elimination of intermediaries in all stages of transportation, as well as on the global transformation of traditional business e-Commerce services. A global trend is the development of unmanned vehicles, to complete the transition to autonomy, according to Director General of OOO “National telematic systems” Alexey Nasekin. Experience shows that the introduction of intelligent transport systems (its) allows not only to organize the work in the transport industry, but could be the impetus for the development of the entire economy. The centralized system should be developed as a single meaningful platform on a national scale and to give businesses the opportunity for development.

The experts unanimously claim: Russia needs new horizons and prospects for the development of “smart transportation” were absolutely real. “We will be able to manage the whole transport infrastructure of the country, to create equal and transparent conditions for small and large businesses and provide accessibility and high quality transportation and logistics services for all citizens. This is a necessary step for the development of the economy, the strengthening of the transit potential of Russia”, – said the first Deputy Minister of transport Eugene Dietrich. The system will reduce the number of intermediaries and workflow, as well as, certainly, overall good impact on the economy.

According to the business community, the market seeks to reduce the number of intermediaries, and therefore cost. That is why we are seeing lately total “uebersetzig” – vendor interoperability of services/goods and the buyer directly. And this is also an important trend that developers take into account a single platform. By the way, the information system will solve problems in all spheres of the transport industry. For rail transport the necessary Electronic trading platform, which will become a new opportunity for the development of the market. It is a single window to place orders and the equal and transparent “interfaces” interaction with Russian Railways for all industrial companies”, – believes the Managing partner of the company “Intelleks” the Sultan emphasized.

According to Victoria Shcherbakova-Slyusarenko, Director General rear terminals of Global Ports, a single electronic platform in the transportation process will allow to solve several global problems. In the first place – to automate the reloading points and simplify document management system for rail, aligning it with document management for automotive, marine transport and in the future to dock with the customs electronic database. This is one of the major today of the tasks that need to be addressed to increase transit and accelerate the movement of goods. In addition, the main benefit from any automation – reducing time and saving human resource.

In summary, the participants of the forum come to the conclusion that ETS will allow the transport market to work like a clock, will increase transit attractiveness of the territory of the Russian Federation and will bring economic benefits, and reduce the percentage of empty return run, which we, as it turns out, without knowing it, today is also pay. And only an integrated approach with the joint participation of big business and government will solve all problems and provide significant savings of funds.
