In turn, the leader of the banned in Russia as extremist organization of Ukrainian nationalists (OUN) Bogdan Chervak called the speech Rivlin in the Verkhovna Rada “a spit in the soul of Ukrainians.” “Before him, none of the participants of the hearings does not allow this”, – said the Ukrainian nationalist in his Facebook.

Earlier, the head of Israel Reuven Rivlin, speaking in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, recalled the participation of Ukrainians in the Holocaust. “About 1.5 million Jews were killed on the territory of modern Ukraine during world war II at Babi Yar and many other places. They were shot in the forests, near ravines and ditches, pushed into mass graves. Many of the accomplices of the crime were Ukrainians,” Rivlin said at the parliamentary hearings.
