The Russian foreign Ministry on its website said that Russia has spent with US several rounds of consultations to assist in the stabilization of the situation in Syria. The result was consistent agreement, detailing and extending the provisions of the Joint statement of 22 February.
Russia has offered to publicize each of these documents, but resisted the American side.
The Russian foreign Ministry notes that, after “leaks” in the Western media, the US state Department has posted on its website a partial compilation of documents and thus have not agreed with Moscow the date of publication. Therefore, the Russian foreign Ministry has published on Tuesday the text of relevant agreements in the Russian language.
Moscow also urged Washington to fulfill long-standing promise of the disengagement, as many groups that the United States called “moderates,” are fighting together with the banned terrorist organisation Jabhat al-Nusra.”
