The Kremlin said reports of the elimination of Putin’s Investigative Committee


Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the circulating rumors that Vladimir Putin allegedly signed a decree on the elimination of the Investigative Committee of Russia. The day before he was denied the information that the head of the RCDS Alexander Bastrykin has submitted a letter of resignation to the President.

Dmitry Peskov, according to RIA “news”, drew the attention of journalists asking this question is that they have noticed that data about the decree of Vladimir Putin on the elimination of the Investigative Committee of Russia is not similar to the original document.

Press Secretary of the head of state added that while all this is circulating as a rumor, as you know, we do not comment on rumors.

We will remind that on the eve the media reported that allegedly the head of the RF IC Alexander Bastrykin gave Vladimir Putin his resignation. The TFR in such publications called fake. Dmitry Peskov said that he knew nothing about what would Vladimir Putin viewed such a request.
