The Icelandic pilot of the passenger plane stated the dangerous maneuver of Russian bombers


The Icelandic newspaper Morgunblaðið reported in his article, two Russian Tu-22M dangerously close to the Icelandic passenger plane flying flight from Reykjavik to Stockholm. About it journalists were told by the pilot of a civil aircraft.

The report said that the incident occurred on September 22 in the airspace of Iceland.

The Russian diplomat suggested that the interpretation of this episode in this vein have Iceland in order to justify the opening of a military base of the US Navy in Keflavik.
