Poll: 80% of Russians recognize the existence of economic crisis in the country


The presence of economic crisis in Russia has recognised 80% of the population, reports “Kommersant”, citing a survey conducted by “Levada-center”.

“Swift conclusion to the crisis, Russians are not waiting. 25% of respondents stated that it would be “very long”, – sociologists.

About half of the respondents (49%), the newspaper writes that in the near future do not expect delays on a salary. It is noted that in the coming months of delays in salary expected 16%, and 17% of the respondents have already delayed wages.

According to the survey, 44% of respondents n do not expect layoffs due to the economic crisis. 20% to allow for the dismissal in the next few months, 8% – in the coming weeks. According to 14% of respondents claim that there is a reduction of jobs.
