Kobzon called Crimea “a burden” to “lean” the Russian budget

People’s artist of the USSR Joseph Kobzon, representing in the state Duma of Russia in Zabaykalsky Krai, made a few interesting statements regarding the economic situation in the country. In particular, he noted that Crimea is “an excessive burden” for Russia.

Joseph Kobzon said that the reunification of the Peninsula with Russia could have a negative impact on the social sphere. “We took on the burdens – the Crimea. A native Russian territory, but which we are funding out of our meager Russian budget. This affects sectors such as health, education, culture and other important areas”, – said Kobzon September 26 in the course of communication with journalists, cheats, writes portal Zabmedia.

It is important to pay attention to the development of culture, which today stands very little money, said the singer. In his opinion, it is because of the lack of funding in this area is widespread alcoholism, drug abuse and crime.

Regarding the budget of Transbaikalian edge, Kobzon has called it “poor.” According to him, the newly made Governor Natalia Zhdanova still does not understand that weight of the shoulder”.
