Savchenko: Ukraine should receive special status

Verkhovna Rada Deputy Nadiya Savchenko, previously convicted in Russia for the murder of journalists and returned home after a pardon, said that Ukraine should receive “special status”, transfers “112 Ukraine”.

“The special status – it can be no for Donetsk, Donbas and Lugansk. It needs to be spelled out correctly for all Ukraine”, – said Savchenko. According to her, it’s time for decentralization, as the Ukrainians don’t want power concentrated in the hands of the President. Savchenko called to amend the Constitution.

Earlier, she said that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko “not doing enough” in reforms.
