Thousands of people gathered at an anti-racism rally in Helsinki

The rally against racism was held on Saturday on a Central square of Helsinki. It was attended by, according to police, 15 to 20 thousand people. They went outside under the slogan “Enough”, carrying balloons and placards reading “No to Nazism!”, “No hate!”

The event was attended by Finnish Prime Minister Juha Sipilä, who will prepare amendments to tighten the law on extremism.

The action became the answers held in the city last week, a rally of neo-Nazis.
