Lavrov urged to prevent the collapse of the negotiations on Syria

The Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, speaking on Friday at the UN General Assembly, called the main thing at present to prevent the collapse of the agreements of the Russian Federation and the United States for truce in Syria. The Russian Minister urged to objectively and impartially investigate the incidents in Deir ez-Zor and Aleppo that undermine these agreements.

Lavrov also reiterated the thesis of the importance of the requirement of the UN security Council about the disengagement of the moderate opposition from the terrorists, stressing the responsibility of States and the members of the coalition.

Refusal or failure to do so in the present circumstances cannot but strengthen the suspicion that “Dzhebhat-EN-Nusra” (banned in Russia) want to withdraw from the strike, and that plans of regime change have not gone away, and this is a flagrant violation of UN security Council resolution,” — said the Russian Minister.
