“The Apple” has declared the non-recognition of results of elections to the state Duma


The Federal political Committee of the Yabloko party announced Thursday it would not recognize the results of the previous 18 September elections to the state Duma of Russia. This is stated in the official statement on the website of the party.

The statement said that according to official data, the turnout was about 50%, and informal – 35%. All this according to the party says about the growing gap between government and society.

In addition, Yabloko said the facts of “mass compulsory voting” and “direct falsification during the vote counting”, which does not allow to recognize the elections as “honest and legitimate”.

The document notes that the state Duma for the first time in Russian history, formed a clear minority of the population, therefore, does not represent Russian society.
