The Vice-President also lamented that for the past two years weekly spends several hours in telephone negotiations with the Ukrainian leadership. In addition, Washington has to constantly put pressure on France, Italy and Germany to maintain sanctions against Russia.
Thus, according to him, Europe does not want to fight for Ukraine. “Before the change of President it (Ukraine) belonged to Russia. They had puppets. What’s the difference, hell, why do you force us to participate in these sanctions,” said Biden, referring to the sentiment prevailing among European politicians.
Note that a few days ago to cancel anti-Russian sanctions called for by the President of Cyprus Nikos Anastasiadis. According to him, the restrictions can not solve the problems in relations between Brussels and Moscow.
