A group of American specialists from University of Virginia, conducted a study during which found out which days of the month women are most interest in sex and get from him maximum pleasure. This study involved 115 women aged 23 to 44 years.
Scientists asked the women to fill out two questionnaires, one of which contained questions about their sexual attraction and the other about how much pleasure they receive in certain days during sexual intercourse. As it turned out, in both cases the peak had approximately the middle of the menstrual cycle. Thus, it falls around the same day as ovulation which for most women happens around 10-16 days before the start of a new cycle.
Experts note that, in General, they find the results are quite logical — of course, in the process of evolution in humans as in other mammals, developed a mechanism for “encouraging” sex in the period of maximum probability of conception.
To similar findings by other researchers representing the University of Arizona, reports the Independent. In the course of their work, they collected information about how often women 147 heterosexual and 89 lesbian have engaged in self-satisfaction, and for some time followed the changes in their basal body temperature is the lowest temperature attained by the body during rest and, as you know, rising in periods of high sexual desire. The study also showed that women’s interest in sex increases during ovulation.
It should be noted that both studies are not too large, so even despite the fact that their results are in good agreement with each other and with the theoretical speculations of scientists, it is impossible to consider the findings of the “final” and applicable to any woman.
