In his words, quoted by “Interfax”, in retirement, he is leaving at his own request, and not under the influence of any external circumstances. In particular, he lamented the “leak” of his resignation, which occurred last week. The General has denied the opinion that the departure is involuntary in virtue of reaching the age limit of stay on civil service: according to Markin, for his job this age is 65 years, whereas he himself is now playing only 60. “Experts in employment law would say that they have shown incompetence and deceived his readers,” — said Markin.

The General said that none of the traditional reasons for dismissal, which usually begin to discuss the people, “miserably expelled, imprisoned or endure foot forward” — don’t apply to him.

He explained that retires because in his post for 9 years, since the inception of the Investigative Committee, “together with the team built an information policy established systematic work in this field and now believes that his “mission accomplished” and it was time to try a new field.”

Thus Markin refrained from telling about career prospects, adding that the decision to withdraw from the UK told his inner circle about three months ago, and his environment it was not a surprise. The General said that about his new job, will tell after his resignation will take, but it will be “less public” than it is now.

Note that earlier “Interfax”, who is now in Tripoli and announced his resignation, he predicted a position in the management of “RusHydro”.

Finally, the General apologized to the readers of his book “The loudest crimes of the 21st century”, presentation of which was scheduled for the evening today. Like a week ago, he cancelled it, citing this time a business trip.

Recall that, by his own admission, caused by allegations of plagiarism on the part of journalists, whose articles were included in the book, he had not written her a single line only by granting to the publisher the materials for arrangement and literary treatment. The admission Markin made after insults to the journalist “the New newspaper” hope of Prusenkova, the scandal erupted and publishers excuses for the fact that incorrect citation made it, not the brand.
