UN urged not to link the future of Syria with the fate of one man

UN Secretary-General ban Ki-moon has issued a call to end the fighting in Syria and start negotiations. Speaking at the General Assembly in new York, he said that the future of this country does not need to be linked to the fate of one person “after such violence and disorder in the management.” Apparently, he was referring to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Ban Ki-moon said the killings of the innocent have been involved in various groups involved in the conflict but none more than the Syrian government”. He accused Damascus in the torture of detainees and the use of barrel bombs in residential areas.
