In the defense Ministry made an official statement about the attack on a convoy by Syrian Aleppo. As reported by the official representative of Department major General Igor Konashenkov, neither Syrian nor Russian military aviation did not inflict strikes on the convoy in the South-Western outskirts of Aleppo.

He added that Russian specialists carried out a humanitarian convoy accompanied by drones, because the route ran through territory controlled by the rebels. After humanitarian aid was delivered, the monitoring was stopped, he added Konashenkov.
