Medvedev said the “vast majority” of the “United Russia” in the new Duma

Russian President Vladimir Putin and the leader of “United Russia” Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that he considers the results of the voting at the elections to the state Duma as a victory of the party.

They declared, arriving at the party headquarters in Bath lane in Moscow. According to Medvedev, the EP is not just won and will have in the Duma “an absolute majority”, the President said that the voters voted for the EP despite the fact that they are “hard, difficult”.

Recall that according to preliminary results of ballot counting, according to opinion polls, the EP gets a little less than half of the votes on party lists. Also at the moment it is known that its members are leaders in 132 single-member districts.
