In the Russian Parliament commented on the statement by the leader of the Ukrainian “people’s front” of Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who called to consider the elections to the state Duma illegitimate. Arseniy Yatsenyuk has no right to give a legal assessment of past the 18 September elections to the state Duma, which was watched by 500 international observers. About this Senator Igor Morozov said on the radio station “Moscow speaking”.
“The assessments that were given by expert observers, just put Russia on one of the first places in the world for transparency and integrity of elections”, — said the MP.
According to Morozov, the opinions of individual politicians should not be taken into account. “The sobs of some Ukrainian politicians about the non-recognition of these elections shouldn’t even be considered. Not only in UN but also in the political field, even to countries where they are distributed,” said Morozov.

Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has registered the resolution on the recognition results of the elections to the lower house of the Russian Parliament. According to the head of the “popular front” Arseniy Yatsenyuk, they were illegitimate because the vote in Crimea.
The resolution involves an appeal to the UN and OSCE “to the world is not just condemned the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, but joined the Ukrainian position regarding the illegitimacy of this body, elected by the Kremlin in violation of all norms of international law.”
