Lost the election in single-mandate Tushino district of Moscow politician Dmitry Gudkov made a statement on voting results and its plans for the future.

According to him, the main competitor, which had to contend with in the district, was not the former chief sanitary doctor Gennady Onishchenko, representing the “United Russia”, and low turnout and the reluctance of people to come to the polls, their unbelief and indifference: “it is Impossible to choose yourself in the Duma, if people do not believe in elections.”
While Gudkov said that the chances of winning were, but for his campaign, which was attended by over 3 thousand people, not enough time, however, in case of victory, said the ex-Deputy of the General situation in the country is not saved.
The elections Gudkov went with the hope of fostering a democratic Duma faction “Yabloko” in the Federal ten of which he was enabled, not being a member of the party. Thoughts on politics, in this case, in the Duma there would be a force that could assume responsibility for the country at a critical moment. However, in the end, “Apple” was not able to overcome not only five, but a three-percent barrier, providing for government financing. Gudkov has noticed that in case of winning it again would be the only (now quite) opposition MPs without hope of a faction,” and “situation it would not be saved.

The main issue, according to the politician, the country is now becoming “how to live” in conditions of de facto one-party Duma (recall that the “United Russia” has received in Parliament of a constitutional majority). “Pack Spring now seem childish prank, but much much more” – predicted the situation Gudkov.
At the same time he is not going to leave politics “only because I’m scared for my children: I want to live in Russia, but not in the one we see in recent years and which has become stronger last night”.
Recall that from the Federal dozens of “Apple” in the state Duma has not passed one: no party candidates (in particular, save at night, the chances of getting into Parliament, the Deputy Chairman of the party Nikolay Rybakov), or independent politicians, such as Vladimir Ryzhkov.

All in all, the Duma, in addition to representatives of parliamentary parties, were only three other single-seat districts: Rifat Shaikhutdinov, a leader of the Civil platform” (a former member of the liberal democratic party, Alexei Zhuravlev, the leader of “homeland” (former member of the EP), and Vladislav Reznik, previously represented in the Duma, United Russia, and now positioned as the independent candidate.
During his campaign Gudkov spent in the area 251 a meeting and collected payments from supporters 40 million on campaigning.
