Nigeria’s President has apologized for plagiarizing Obama’s speech about honesty

The President of Nigeria Mohammed Buhari in his speech on 8 September called on the people of the country to the discipline and strengthening of patriotism, announcing the beginning of the campaign “Change begins with me” in the part of the government reforms.

However, the media noticed that a few sentences in his speech is plagiarism speech of the American leader Barack Obama after winning the 2008 presidential election.

Bukhari had to publicly apologize. He promised to punish those who were responsible for the preparation of his speech.

It should be noted that the meeting between Obama and Buhari is scheduled for next week at the UN.
