In his speech at the meeting of the Ambassador of Ukraine to Kyrgyzstan Nikolai Doroshenko said that Kiev opposes Russia’s presidency in the CIS as Moscow has violated international law, annexed Crimea and contributes to the conflict in Ukraine”.

He also said that Ukraine will take part in the census of inhabitants of the CIS only in the case if Russia does not take into account its citizens residing in Crimea, reports RIA Novosti.

In turn the President of Russia Vladimir Putin has objected to the representative of Ukraine. He recalled that Ukraine has not signed the Charter of the Commonwealth and hardly has the right to make their proposals work.

Note that today in Bishkek hosted a jubilee summit of the CIS. This year the organization celebrates its 25th anniversary.
