Poroshenko told how Russia “fit into the head” of the West


The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko believes that Russia is trying to “get into the head” of Western civilization, to build an alternative Europe based on selfishness and cynicism. Such opinion the President stated in his speech during the opening of the summit of the Yalta European strategy in Kiev.

Russia seeks to instill in the EU its “paranoid” ideas with the help of propaganda, said the President of Ukraine in his speech, reports “UKRINFORM”.

“Russia is trying to get in the head of Western civilization: euroscepticism, anti-Americanism, isolationism destroys the current coordinate system of the Western civilization (…) We must recognize that hundreds of millions of dollars flowing to the West, to support national self-interest and fatigue from integration, hatred and intolerance”, – said Poroshenko.

The politician admitted that he was personally acquainted with the work of “Kremlin strategists” who are planning already the next Exit (gender analogy with brakeset approx.) in order to change the Pro-European political elites and to undermine Western values. All this is done in order to build an alternative Europe, which, according to Poroshenko, will be based on “selfishness, populism and cynicism”.

The Ukrainian President also said that after elections it is possible the emergence of a new Europe, so next month will be a “moment” of truth for the West, and to prepare for this “potential reality” is necessary today. “We can win this battle, if we do it together” – summed Poroshenko.
