Mirziyoyev’s candidacy was nominated for the post of President of Uzbekistan

The liberal democratic party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP) nominated Shavkat Mirziyoev for the presidency. This was announced on his page in Facebook, the CEC of Uzbekistan.

Mirziyoev was the head of the government, after the death of Uzbek President Islam Karimov appointed acting head of state. Early presidential elections will be held in Uzbekistan on December 4.

On Friday we also learned the name of another candidate for President: Democratic party of Uzbekistan “Milliy Tiklanish” in the presidential elections will be Vice speaker of Parliament Sarwar of Atamuradov.
