According to her, quoted by “Interfax”, this must be done in order to combat unemployment: “a Large number of young people after school did not receive any colleges or universities that are not working, unemployed”.
Due to the fact that each year, according to her, 24 thousands of young people, graduating from school, stay out of “economic and social system, it is necessary, says Nazarbayev, “to reduce the number of contractors and increase the number of draftees.”
Thus spoke the daughter of the President and increase the period of compulsory military service from the current one year to two years. She believes that two years in the army will be for young people a good start in adulthood”.
Note that the new position Nazarbayeva (April 14 she was Vice-speaker of the Majilis — the lower house of Parliament, in 2015 moved to the post of Deputy Prime Minister) threw the country into a discussion of the possible succession of power. However, the politician had rejected these views, saying that she just works “in the President’s team”.
