The theatre now lives in two, the benefit of the neighbouring houses: the second one is located on Strastnoy Boulevard. So the artistic Director Yevgeny Mironov to run it was close. Well, the owner of a stylish loft with sloppy brickwork arrived and took the word:
— This building is the most appropriate award. His year of birth — 1812 — it has a direct relationship to “War and peace”. Here the Czechs organised a sports society. Contributions it collected, and he did not appear. So without libraries, we will not do.
The word “library” Vladimir Tolstoy, Chairman of the award jury and presidential adviser on culture, eyes lit up, and in his hands appeared heavy packages. Inside is a gift for the future book space, the works of the laureates of the previous years and those who got in today the shortlist of nominations “Childhood. Adolescence. Youth” and “XXI century”.
The last are from two books “Soft tissue” Boris Minaev: “Baptiste”, and “Cloth”. Lev Anninsky says that in them “there is a great writer and most important task, which is dictated by the master by Leo Tolstoy. Thanks to such literature we move to understanding the war and what is happening to our world.”
The novel “From the sky fell three apples” Narine Abgaryan. Alexey Varlamov calls it “a notable event, as it seamlessly weaves the Armenian motive and beautiful Russian language”.
Even in the nomination “XXI century” is “Lost blind tune,” Alexander Grigorenko, Roman, claiming the title of the most intelligent, — the adoration of the Magi” Aflatuni Suhbat and “Pomegranate island” by Vladimir Eisner. Here — “Winter road” by Leonid Yuzefovich, written firmly on archival materials and recommended Jevgenijs Vodolazkyy: “I believed that strictly following the documents, it is impossible to rotate the character to the left or to the right. But Yuzefovich was able to do it — he sent it in depth.
As for the nomination “Childhood. Adolescence. Youth”, the layout in its short list is this: “You just write about love” by Marina Moskvina Yulia Govorova, “the Forester and his nymph” by Marina Nefedova and “Children of the Raven” Yulia Yakovleva, and the last book is not about today, but about the twentieth century. Pavel Basinsky explains the timing: “we Have idea about this inaccurate, about the future — fearful, but the past is clear. Therefore, the theme of a bygone era migrated in children’s literature”.
In General, these works are worth reading in any case. They form the agenda.
