The Ministry of Finance proposed not to index pensions to working pensioners in the coming years


The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation proposed not to index pensions to working pensioners in the years 2017-2019. As reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the letter of the Ministry dated 21 July, the Ministry of Finance in determining the amount of intergovernmental fiscal transfer to the Pension Fund came from the fact that indexing in these years will not be held.

Earlier it became known that instead of indexing to pensioners in January 2017 will pay five thousand rubles. However, the government then plans to return to the format with the indexation of pensions, assured Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
