The Kremlin said Navalny’s application to the constitutional court with a complaint against Putin


Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov has commented on reports that opposition leader Alexei Navalny appealed to the constitutional court with a complaint against Vladimir Putin.

According to “Interfax”, in the constitutional court, Navalny challenged the refusal of the Tver court of Moscow to consider his claim to the Russian President about “inaction in preventing conflict of interest in allocating $1.75 billion from the national welfare Fund to the project of SIBUR’s Zapsibneftekhim.

Peskov said that the President put forward a lot of allegations, accusations and claims.” According to Peskov, often the authors of these charges go to the courts and there are necessary legal procedure, but more to say about nothing.

Also Peskov said that has no information about the course President Putin appeals to the Russian constitutional court Alexei Navalny.
