British Parliament: the decision on military operation in Libya was a mistake

The report of the British Parliament, to be published Wednesday, said that the military intervention of great Britain in Libya in 2011 was a mistake, caused by incomplete understanding of the situation.” This writes the Wall Street Journal.

Legislators are confident that the operation in Libya has led to political and economic collapse, humanitarian and migration crisis, inter-tribal enmity, as well as to the expansion of the terrorist group “Islamic state” (banned in Russia) on territorii North Africa. Similar such effects can be avoided.
