“They were forced with “Rosoboronexport” to remove the sanctions. Case spare parts, equipment,” – said TASS representative of the Russian President on Afghanistan, Director of second Asia Department at the Russian foreign Ministry Zamir Kabulov.

According to the interlocutor of the Agency, Rosoboronexport will maintain the equipment on a commercial basis.

It is worth noting that at the end of June this year, the United States extended sanctions against the company based on the Law on non-proliferation in respect of Iran, North Korea and Syria from 2009. However, the essence of the claims of the American government to the “Rosoboronexport” is not disclosed.

The Americans believe that certain activities of the Russian company “serve as the basis for the application of measures of a punitive nature.”

The restrictions include a ban on conclusion any contracts and agreements between all agencies of the U.S. government and the “Rosoboronexport”, including the transfer of American arms and military equipment, their maintenance. The validity of the new sanctions is 2 years.
