Special services: the terrorist attack in Bishkek, Russian, Chinese and Tajik roots


The terrorist attack in Bishkek involved persons from the Tajik, Chinese and Russian roots, said the first Deputy Director of the FSB Sergei Smirnov. According to him, the conclusions arrived at by the special services of the Shanghai cooperation organization (SCO) conducting the investigation to share with Russian specialists.

The attack occurred on August 30. A suicide bomber in a car rammed the gates of the Chinese Embassy in Bishkek, and then detonated the bomb. The explosion injured three persons from among the staff of the diplomatic mission.
