Lavrov said the need to move the implementation of the “Minsk-2” off the ground

The Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov during a joint with his counterpart from Monaco press conference stated the need to move the implementation of the Minsk agreements from the dead point. According to him, for that obligations needs to accomplish and the self-proclaimed Republic of Donbass, and the Ukrainian authorities.

However, the intention of Kiev to establish first of all a ceasefire in the region for a month, and only then to discuss the political aspects Lavrov sees a desire to delay the process of implementation of the agreements indefinitely.

Russia for its part proposes to create a parallel “road map”, said the Minister. It would involve the simultaneous implementation of steps to strengthen security, the promotion of political reforms.
